How do I get plugged in at The Village Chapel?

If you have decided to make The Village Chapel your home church there are several next steps that we encourage all of our people to take. We don’t have a formal membership here but what we have what we call our “Next Steps” for each person. These are steps that will help you get connected to the church and get involved:

Starting Point Class

This is the place where you find out who we are and what we are about. We hold these classes several times throughout the year after Sunday Services. We provide the lunch and childcare so come on out and meet the church staff.

Worship Weekly

We consider ourselves a family here and one of the essentials to a healthy family is gathering together. For the church it is our weekly worship services.

Join a Small Group

The next step to take is to join a small group. These are weekly groups that get together to study God’s word, discuss our faith, and love on one another. It takes our faith from just learning to living it.

Serve

We are called to serve the church and the community and that happens here by serving on a ministry team. There is a multitude of opportunities to get involved and use the gifts God has blessed you with.

Invite a Friend

Probably the biggest step of faith is inviting someone to church. While we understand what goes into that we also know that this step is vital to the growth of each believer.

Join a Small Group

Please send us a note letting us know that you would like to join a Small Group and we will contact you as soon as we can.
What is Baptism?

The Bible clearly teaches that baptism is the first step of obedience after making a commitment to Christ. Baptism allows a believer to communicate to the world their heart-felt commitment to Christ. People often have questions regarding baptism: Why should I be baptized? I’ve already been baptized. Do I have to do it again? Does it matter if someone is sprinkled or dunked? These are all answered at our Baptism Class.

At The Village Chapel we believe in complete immersion. This represents death to the old life (going under water) and being brought into a new life (coming out of the water).

If you would like to be baptized, please email the Church Office.
